Sixth form neutral
Sixth Form - Detailed Uniform Regulations: Sixth Formers are expected to wear a smart two-piece outfit, consisting of a jacket and skirt, dress or ousers. It can be of any colour, cut, pattern or material (except leather, denim, tight elasticated material) and should be quiet and unobtrusive. The length of skirt/dress should be between just above the ankle and just above the knee. Pupils should wear a smart top, blouse, or shirt with sleeves, while casual T-shirts, cropped tops, and tops with straps are not permitted. Boys are expected to wear a tie. Sweaters should be plain, and sweatshirts are not allowed. Shoes should be smart and formal. Footnote: The school aims to help prepare the students for the world of work and while individuality is welcomed the students should aim to look smart and professional in their appearance. Boys generally wear a suit and tie in the Autumn and Spring Terms and many wear chinos and a jacket in the summer. Girls normally wear a skirt or trousers with their jacket. Skirts that are too short are the most common issue with the recommendation that skirt length should be just above the knee.
